The Super Bowl is right around the corner. Right now, no team has secured a berth in the game, but the teams in the running are the 49ers, Falcons, Ravens and Patriots. Because the teams playing have yet to be decided, the current prices for Super Bowl tickets may be very different today from what they will be once the matchup is decided. Let’s take a look at what you can expect to pay for tickets right now.
Here is our map of the Mercedes Benz Superdome.
Let’s take a look at each section grouping, the price to sit there and the view you’ll get from those seats.
Sections 113, 114, 114, 141 and 143. (Premium)
These sections are front and center, so you’d be hard-pressed to find better seats in the whole stadium. Prices range from $8,639 per ticket to $10,800 per ticket. On average, seats in these sections will cost about $9,380.
Sections 111-12, 116-17, 139-40 and 144-45 (Goal to 25-yard line)
These sections are closer to the corners of the stadium. Anyone sitting here should enjoy their view. Prices range from $4,679 per ticket to $6,300 per ticket. On average, seats in these sections will cost about $3,164.
Sections 106-09, 119-22, 134-37 and 147-150 (Corners)
These sections are on the lower level corners of the stadium. The best view from these sections will come from the seats that are lined up with the goal posts, and angled towards the center of the field. Picky patrons may not find these seats suitable, but most will find them to be excellent. The worst view comes from well behind the endzone and is also angled towards the center of the field. These seats will be suitable for most patrons. Prices range from $3,852 per ticket to $4,680 per ticket. On average, seats in these sections will cost about $4,132.
Sections 124-32, 101-04 and 152-56 (Endzone)
These sections are on the lower level behind the endzone. The sections on the outside of this area have some very good views available that would be suitable for most patrons. The sections closer to being directly behind the goal post are an acquired taste. Although they are low and close to the field, there is a bit of obstruction from the goal posts. It is also difficult to see what is going on when the game shifts to the other side of the field. On the bright side, patrons in these sections get a great view of any scoring plays that happen in their endzone. Prices range from $3,771 per ticket to $4,680 per ticket. On average, seats in these sections will cost about $4,036.
The following sections are part of the ‘Loge’ level of the Superdome. The Loge level is an upscale section of the Superdome with some nicer concession options than the standard fare you would find in other areas of the stadium. Patrons in these sections also have access to exclusive lounges where they can enjoy their food or drink away from their seats.
Sections 219-225, 261-267, 311-13 and 335-37 (Premium)
These sections are the center-field portion of the Loge levels and therefore command a higher-than-normal price. Also, it is generally agreed upon that the view from these slightly-elevated seats is likely better than the view from say, the first row on the 50-yard line, so that increases their price as well. Prices range from $8,800 per ticket, to $12,000 per ticket. On average, seats in these sections will cost about $10,375.
Sections 213-17, 227-30, 255-60, 269-72, 308-10, 314-16, 332-34 and 338-40 (Endzone to 15-yard line.)
These sections are part of the ‘Loge’ level of the Superdome. They are slightly off-centered The most off-centered seats line up with the back of the endzone. The exceptionally picky fan might not find these seats suitable, but most people will agree that they are some of the best seats in the house. Prices range from $3,119 per ticket to $9,000 per ticket. On average, seats in these sections will cost about $5,171.
Sections 207-12, 230-35, 249-54, 273-77, 304-07, 317-20, 328-31 and 341-44 (Corners)
These sections are part of the ‘Loge’ level of the Superdome. They sit in the corner behind the endzones, angled towards the center of the field. Although they are behind the endzone, the elevated view from these seats makes them prime real estate. Prices range from $3,179 per ticket to $5,939 per ticket. On average, seats in these sections will cost about $4,705.
The 300 and 400 level suite areas of the Superdome provide the most luxurious experience in the stadium. Most suites include full catering, but require patrons to purchase a multi-person bundle. Usually these bundles are for 18 people or more, and come with price tags in the hundreds of thousands. Single person passes to a shared suite are available for about $8000 each
One fully-catered 30-person suite sits on the goal line, and features personal appearances of NFL players and parking passes. This monster is going for $339,900.
Sections 613-15 and 639-41 (Premium)
These sections are centered on the upper level . They provide a great view of the whole game, especially in the lower rows. Some patrons may feel that these seats are too far from the field, and make it difficult to see details in the game, but most will agree that these are excellent seats. Prices range from $3239 per ticket to $3660 per ticket. On average, seats in these sections will cost about $3,353.
Sections 506-11, 521-25, 536-41, 551-55, 610-12, 616-18, 636-38 and 642-44 (Endzone to 15-yard line)
These sections are on either side of the centered sections and inside the corner sections of the upper level. The view from these seats is still very good, depending on which row you sit in. Tickets available in the 500 level here will all be excellent seats. Prices range from $2,517 per ticket to $4,800 per ticket. On average, seats in these sections will cost about $3,169.
Sections 504-05, 526-27, 534-35, 556-57, 607-09, 619-21, 633-35 and 645-47 (Corner)
These sections are found in the corners of the upper level. Like the previous group, the view from here is still quite good, especially from the 500 level. Prices range from $2,460 per ticket to $3,540 per ticket. On average, seats in these sections will cost about $2,855
Sections 559, 501-03, 648-52, 602-06 and 622-632 (Endzone)
These sections are found well behind the endzone on the upper level. The outermost sections in this group provide a good overall view of the field, especially in the lower rows. The sections behind the goal posts also provide a good view of the whole field. It may be difficult for people sitting in these sections to see detailed action on the opposite side of the field. Admittedly, these seats are probably the least desirable in the stadium, however they still provide a great experience. Prices range from $2,387 per ticket to $4,002 per ticket. On average, seats in these sections will cost about $2,960.
